Product use
1. For the special activity of silicon-halogen bond, start from chlorotrimethylsilane, it can synthesize a series of silicon functional group containing silicone compounds, such as hexamethyldisiloxane, 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyldisilazane and so on.
2. Chlorotrimethylsilane is an excellent agent to introduce trimethylsiyl in organic molecule. It can be used as the protecting group of hydroxyl, carboxyl, amino and other functional groups. Trimethysilyl connection and stripping reaction has high yield, mild conditions and wide range of applications. It has been widely used in organic synthesis.
3. Some biochemical samples can react with chlorotrimethylsilane and generate silanized derivatives, which have higher volatility to achieve the gas chromatography analysis of biological samples.
4. Chlorotrimethylsilane is a silicone high polymer head agent to adjust high polymer molecular weight. In particular, widely used in the production of silicone oil.
